What are CFDs?

A contract for difference (CFD) is an arrangement where the differences in the settlement between the open and closing trade prices of a financial instrument are cash-settled. In other words, when you buy a contract, you are betting on the future growth of an asset, expecting to sell your contract at a higher price and make a profit from this price difference.
